If your kids are after somewhere to bounce properly, Flip Out York is the one on offer, about a mile or so out from the centre. It's a big trampoline arena with a ninja course, foam pits and an inflatable sports pitch, and you book a one or two hour slot rather than turning up and hoping. Entry starts from £3, and it's open to ages 1 and up, so toddlers and older siblings can both find something to do on the same visit. There isn't a choice to make between venues here, just between session lengths and times. Go for a shorter slot with a younger child who tires quickly, or the longer one if you've got older kids who'll want a proper go at the ninja course. There's free parking, a cafe on site, and party rooms if you're thinking of a birthday there rather than just a one-off visit.
