What it’s like

An hour or two of trampolines, drop slides and dark caving tunnels, with toddler sessions and family passes to soften the price.

Bouncing is the main event here: wall to wall trampolines, tumble tracks, a slamball court and a ninja obstacle course to have a go at. There's dark caving to crawl through, drop slides for anyone over 1.2m, and a toddler soft play area for the ones too small for the big stuff. Grip socks are compulsory, so budget an extra £3 if nobody in the car has a pair already.

An hour standard is £15, two hours £20, and there's a walk-in off-peak rate most days that brings it down to £10 for an hour or £14 for two. Book ahead for the off-peak slot instead and it's a bit cheaper again, £9 or £13. Family passes are where the real saving is: four people for an hour is £50, which beats paying separately, and Sunday Funday gives you two hours for the price of one. If you've got a child five or under, Stay & Play runs 1pm to 3pm at £7 for them and £3 for an accompanying adult, which is a gentler way in than the full arena price.

Parking's free on site but you have to register your registration plate at reception, easy to forget and a fine if you do. Term time hours are shorter, 12 till 7 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with fuller 10am to 7 or 8pm days at weekends and right through the school holidays. Sessions do sell out, especially weekends, so turning up on spec is a gamble even though walk-ins are technically welcome. They want you there 30 minutes before your slot starts.

Birthday parties start from £21 a head for a minimum of ten on the Standard Package, which gets you an hour in the arena, half an hour in a private party room, a dedicated host, food and Flip Out socks, plus free spectator tickets for anyone watching. There's an Awesome Package too at £27 a head if you want to upgrade. Worth knowing that the Stunt Zone attraction is currently closed, and wheelchair users can't get up to the climbing wall, caving or the slide upstairs, though there's ramp access to the ground floor.

Plan your visit

How much does it cost?

£15 for an hour or £20 for two at standard times. Off-peak walk-in rates drop to £10 and £14, or £9 and £13 if you book the off-peak slot ahead.

Is there a cheaper family option?

Family passes work out better than paying one by one, £50 for four people for an hour up to £96 for six people for two hours. Sunday Funday also gives two hours for the price of one.

Do we need to book?

Walk-ins are welcome but sessions often sell out, especially weekends, so booking ahead is the safer bet. They ask you to arrive 30 minutes early either way.

Is there anything for a toddler?

Stay & Play runs 1pm to 3pm most days, £7 for a child five or under and £3 for an adult with them, plus there's a toddler soft play area.

What are the grip sock rules?

You can't bounce without them. They're an extra £3 if you don't bring your own pair.

Is there a height limit on anything?

The drop slides need you to be over 1.2m tall. Under that height, the ticket price is a bit cheaper too.

What about parking?

It's free on site, but you have to register your number plate at reception when you arrive or risk a fine.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

There's ramp access to the ground floor, but wheelchair users can't get up to the climbing wall, caving or the slide upstairs.

What do birthday parties include?

The Standard Package is £21 a head for a minimum of ten, covering an hour in the arena, half an hour in a private room, a host, food and socks. The Awesome Package at £27 a head is the upgrade.

Are the opening hours the same all year?

No, term time weekdays are shorter at 12pm to 7pm, while school holidays and weekends run 10am to 7pm or 8pm on Saturdays.

Can people watch without joining in?

A spectator ticket is £2.

Is the whole park open at the moment?

Mostly, but the Stunt Zone attraction is currently closed.
