What it’s like
A big Hammersmith gig venue with bars and snacks on site, best reached by tube rather than car.
This is a proper live music hall rather than a family attraction, so what you're getting depends entirely on who's playing. If you've got an older kid who's desperate to see a band or artist on tour, this is one of the venues they might turn up at, but there's nothing laid on specifically for children here.
There's no hot food inside, just bars doing alcohol, soft drinks and snacks, so if your teenager gets hungry before a gig you'll want to sort that beforehand. Worth factoring in if you're making a night of it and don't fancy queuing at the bar for a bag of crisps.
Getting there is straightforward on paper. Hammersmith tube sits right by it, on the Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith & City lines, and a fair few buses stop nearby too. Driving is the bit to avoid though. There's no parking on site, and they're upfront that you shouldn't leave a car in the surrounding streets because of car theft, so public transport is really the only sensible option.

Plan your visit
Is there parking?
No on-site parking, and they specifically advise against leaving your car in the nearby residential streets because of car theft. Best to leave the car at home for this one.
How do we get there without driving?
Hammersmith tube station is right there, covering the Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Plenty of buses stop in the shopping centre nearby too.
Can we get food there?
There are bars selling snacks, soft drinks and alcohol, but nothing hot. Eat before you go if anyone's properly hungry.
Is this suitable for younger kids?
It's a standard gig venue rather than a family attraction, so whether it suits your kids really comes down to who's performing and what the show's like.
