What it’s like
An hour locked in with your team to crack codes and hidden clues across seven themed rooms, some of them properly spooky.
This is one for the older kids, not a toddler soft play substitute. You get 60 minutes in a private room, working through puzzles and hidden clues to get out, and there are seven different themes to pick from, so a family who gets the bug can come back and not repeat a room for a while.
The catch is the age line. Anyone 12 or under has to be with an adult 18+, and the site actually recommends 13 and up, so this suits a teenager's birthday or a mixed group with a couple of grown-ups more than a family with young kids. Worth knowing too that some of the rooms, particularly the basement ones, are built to be frightening. If your twelve-year-old spooks easily, ask which theme before you book rather than after.
Pricing drops the more of you there are, which changes the maths a lot. Two players pay £34 each, but get a team of six together and it's £24 a head, plus a £4.90 booking fee per room. Rooms take 2 to 6 players and the site says it can run up to 42 people an hour across all seven rooms, so it copes fine with a bigger group booking, like a birthday party of young teens.
A couple of practical points that matter on the day. Bookings are non-refundable and can't be moved, so a sick kid on the morning means you've lost the slot. And there's no wheelchair access, since the rooms sit on floors 1, 2 and in the basement, with some crawling and climbing involved in the games themselves.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
It scales with group size: £34 a head for two players down to £24 a head for six, plus a £4.90 booking fee per room.
What age is it suitable for?
Under-13s need an adult with them, and the site recommends 13 and up as the sweet spot. Younger kids can play if the theme suits them.
How long does a game take?
Sessions are 60 minutes, and they want you there 5 minutes early for the briefing and lockers.
Can we book if we've got a big group?
Yes, the seven rooms hold 2 to 6 players each and they say they can handle up to 42 people in an hour across the site. Call them directly for larger group bookings.
Are the rooms scary?
Some of them are, especially the horror-themed ones in the basement. Ask before booking if that's a concern for a younger player.
Can we cancel if plans change?
Once a game is booked it can't be cancelled or moved to another slot.
