What it’s like
An indoor ninja-style obstacle course with Nerf Wars and Laser Tag sessions layered on top for a proper break-a-sweat couple of hours.
This one's built around a ninja-warrior obstacle course, all running, jumping, climbing and sliding, with sessions of Nerf Wars and Laser Tag mixed in too. It's the sort of place where a confident five-year-old will be straight up the climbing bits, and the site's honest that three and four-year-olds can join in if they're up for it, though they pitch it more squarely at 5 to 10s.
Opening hours are tight and worth building your weekend around: Friday evenings only from 5 to 7, then Saturday and Sunday split into two slots, 11 to 1 and 2 to 4. There's no Monday to Thursday opening at all, so this isn't a rainy-Tuesday rescue, it's a plan-ahead outing. Everyone taking part gets a safety briefing first and has to sign a disclaimer, which adds a few minutes on but is fair enough given the climbing and sliding involved.
There's a café upstairs for food and drinks during your visit, but you can't bring your own in from outside. As a small operation they're upfront that this keeps the lights on, so pack light and budget for buying there instead.
If you're planning a birthday, they run proper party packages, exclusive or shared, over a two-hour session with free play plus a choice of Nerf Wars or Laser Tag, a hot buffet, balloons, banners and use of a party zone, for up to 30 kids. That two hours covers the whole thing, food included, so it takes the planning out of your hands nicely.
