What it’s like
A craft studio where kids can try pottery, rug tufting, badge making and more, with parties for up to 24 across two rooms.
This is one for the kid who's bored of the usual soft play circuit and wants to actually make something. The studio runs pottery and ceramics workshops alongside drawing and painting, and then there's the stuff you don't see everywhere, rug tufting, hat making, jewellery and badge making, ribbon crafts. It's the sort of list that reads like they've thrown everything at the wall to see what sticks, and rug tufting in particular sounds like the one to save for a special visit rather than a quick drop-in.
Birthday parties and team building sessions both get a mention, and the main studio holds 16 people with a smaller front room for 8 more if you need the overflow. That's a decent capacity for a craft-based party, though you'd want to think about which activity actually works for a group that size before you book anything.
Getting there is easiest by bus, the First Bus 60, 60A and 61 all stop about two minutes' walk away on Maryhill Road. If you're on the underground, both Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross are around 17 minutes on foot, which is more of a there-and-back trek than a quick hop. Parking is on-street on Garscube Rd or in the small visitors car park round the back via Firhill Rd, and that back entrance also gives you level access if the one step at the front door is a problem, though the venue says it's still assessing accessibility properly.

Plan your visit
What can the kids actually make?
Pottery and ceramics, drawing and painting, rug tufting, hat making, jewellery and badge making, and ribbon crafts. There's a lot on the list, so it's worth picking one or two rather than trying everything in a single visit.
Can we book a birthday party there?
Yes, birthday parties and team building sessions are both on offer. The main studio takes 16 people, with a cosy front room for 8 more if your group's bigger.
Is there parking?
There's on-street parking on Garscube Rd, plus a small visitors car park at the back entrance off Firhill Rd.
Is it accessible with a wheelchair or buggy?
There's one small step at the front door, but the back entrance from the car park gives level access. They mention they're still assessing accessibility fully, so it's not a polished setup yet.
