What it’s like

One of London's biggest soft play frames with giant ball pools, a toddler zone and sensory rooms for quieter heads.

The frame's the big draw here, they reckon it's one of the largest soft play setups in London, and once your kids clock the giant ball pools and elevated walkways you won't see them for a while. There's a separate area for under-5s so babies and toddlers aren't getting trampled by seven-year-olds tearing about, plus sensory rooms if anyone needs a breather from the noise. Arcade games are there too for when legs give out before enthusiasm does.

Sessions run for 1 hour 45 minutes, and they want you there 5 to 10 minutes early to check in, which eats into your time if you're not organised. Socks are non-negotiable, dark ones ideally if you're going near the dodgems, so pack accordingly. Adults have to pay and are expected to join in rather than just watch from the sidelines, which keeps things from getting overcrowded but does mean it's not a free babysitting afternoon.

Food's a bit of a faff if you're used to bringing your own. No outside food or drink is allowed, barring baby food for under-1s and nut-free cakes for parties, so you're relying on the café for lunch. It does hot and cold food and drinks for both kids and adults, so nobody's stuck with just crisps.

Parking is limited right outside, and weekends and school holidays are when the place fills up fastest, so if you can go midweek it'll be calmer, especially handy if you've got a child who needs a quieter visit. Birthday parties and private hire are both on offer if you fancy handing the chaos over to someone else for two hours.

Plan your visit

How long do we get?

Sessions are 1 hour 45 minutes, and they ask you to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to check in.

Do we need to book?

Booking at least a day ahead gets you up to £2 off per person, so it's worth planning ahead rather than turning up cold.

Is there parking?

Yes, but only a handful of spaces directly outside, so don't count on it at busy times.

What ages is it suitable for?

It's set up for 0 to 11 year olds, with a separate toddler section for the 0 to 4s and older siblings welcome across the rest.

Can we bring our own food?

No outside food or drink, apart from baby food for under-1s and nut-free cakes at parties. The café covers meals and drinks for everyone else.

Do adults pay too?

Adults pay and are expected to get involved, which keeps the play areas from feeling too crowded.

What should the kids wear?

Comfy clothes, long sleeves and trousers work best, and socks are a must. Dark socks are recommended if they're heading for the dodgems.

Can we book a birthday party?

Parties run for 2 hours from £15 to £20 a child at peak times, or from £10 for toddler parties off-peak. Private hire is available too.

Is it suitable for children with additional needs?

There's a sensory room and concessionary tickets, and they recommend weekday visits when it's quieter.

How busy does it get?

It often reaches capacity on weekends and during school holidays, so midweek is your best bet for more space.
