What it’s like

Soft play tucked inside a pub, with an outdoor play area, a TotSpot for the smallest, and free craft templates to download before you go.

The play corner sits inside the Myllet Arms, so you get soft play and pub food in the same trip. Indoors there's the Wacky Corner itself and a TotSpot for the smallest ones, and there's an outdoor play area as well when the day's decent. No fixed age bands are published, so judge it by your own child: a toddler will get plenty from the TotSpot, and an older one who wants more height may run out of things to climb.

Before you go, the site has free crafting templates and guides you can download. That's a genuinely good idea for the car or the table while you wait for food, and it costs nothing. Printing is on you, so sort it at home rather than discovering it on the way.

It's open 11am to 7pm every day, which makes it an afternoon filler or somewhere to eat early with the kids rather than a full day out. Pub food and drink come from the same building, with a kids menu and allergen information published. Free parking on site and the place is wheelchair accessible.

Plan your visit

What are the opening hours?

11am to 7pm, every day of the week. That makes it an afternoon or early tea sort of trip rather than a whole day.

Do we need to book?

Nothing on the site says you have to. It's a walk-in play corner inside a pub, so you'd be turning up for a table and a play.

Is there parking?

Yes, and it's free on site. You won't be hunting for a pay and display.

What can we eat?

Pub food and drink, served in the same building. There's a kids menu and the allergen information is published.

Is it any good for a toddler?

There's a TotSpot set aside for the little ones, plus the indoor soft play. The outdoor play area gives them somewhere to potter about too.

Can we bring anything to do?

The site offers free crafting templates and guides to download. Print them at home before you set off.

Is it accessible?

The venue is wheelchair accessible. There's also free parking right on site.

Can we take the dog?

Dogs are welcome at the Myllet Arms. Worth remembering if the walk is part of the plan.
