What it’s like
Pre-booked 90-minute play sessions for 0 to 10s, with climbing, sliding and a disco party option.
The draw is the soft play itself: climbing frames, slides, and enough room to keep a four-year-old busy for the whole slot. Sessions are timed at an hour and a half, which is about right at that age and maybe a stretch for a two-year-old who's had enough by the hour mark. Under six months go free, so a baby sibling along for the ride costs nothing.
Booking is compulsory, and that's the bit to know before you promise anyone anything. Every play session runs in a set slot and has to be pre-booked, so you can't just turn up on a wet Saturday and hope. It's £8 a child from six months to ten. Once you're in, that's your 90 minutes, so aim to arrive a few minutes early rather than losing play time to the check-in.
Beyond the standard sessions they run themed ones: a disco party with dancing, and pizza and play. Those are the ones to save for a birthday or a treat rather than a normal Tuesday. For actual birthdays there's a two-hour Happy Feet party for ten or more children with a dedicated host, plus disco, teddy bear and private hire options if you'd rather have the place to yourselves.
The café does hot and cold meals, snacks and cakes, with jacket potatoes, breakfast dishes and fish fingers on the list, and they're set up for allergies and intolerances. Worth knowing it's a small café area, so at a busy session you might be eating with a buggy parked next to you. They're open Tuesday to Saturday 9.30 to 17.00 and Sunday 11.00 to 17.00, closed Mondays.
