What it’s like

A 300-metre zipwire ride over Brighton beach from a 30-metre tower, solo or side by side.

You climb the 30-metre tower, clip in and glide 300 metres along Brighton beach on a zipwire, with the sea and the seafront laid out below you. It's over quickly, which is the nature of these things, but the view from the top is the bit people go back for.

You can go solo for £22 or ride dual for £38, side by side with someone else if you fancy sharing the moment (or the nerves). There's a video of the action for £10 if you want proof you actually did it, since it'll be gone before you've had time to process it.

Only one line is running until the summer holidays, so it's worth knowing that before you plan a trip around it. At weekends and school holidays it opens from 12pm onwards. Afterwards there's a bar and kitchen on site doing fish and chips, seafood, burgers and vegetarian options, plus alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and coffee all year round.

It's a straightforward visit rather than a long one: queue, climb, ride, then decide if you're doing it again. Group bookings are catered for if you're going as a bigger crowd, and there's indoor seating if the weather turns while you eat.
