What it’s like

Weekly sensory sessions for babies and toddlers, with songs, baby massage and themed props to explore together.

These are the sessions where you sit on the floor with your baby and do all the things health visitors tell you are good for development, except set to music and with someone else doing the planning. Newborns get gentle sensory play and bonding time, while the older ones move on to action songs, movement and themed activities with props that change week to week. There's baby massage in there too, which is as much a chance for you to breathe for ten minutes as it is for your baby to relax.

The age range runs right up to four, so it's built to grow with your child rather than being something you age out of after six months. A newborn will get plenty from the sensory and massage side, while a toddler who's into cause and effect will be more interested in the props and movement. That stretch is the whole point, you're not swapping classes every few months as your child changes.

They also do birthday parties, built around the same music and interactive play the weekly sessions use, so if your toddler already knows the songs, that's a party where nobody has to learn the rules first.
