What it’s like

A free soft play corner and a café to sit in while the little one potters about.

There's a soft play area here and it doesn't cost anything to use, which makes it an easy stop if you're passing with a toddler in tow rather than a destination you'd plan a whole day around. No frames, no slides listed, just a space for smaller kids to climb about and burn off some wobbles while you keep half an eye from the café table.

The café does drinks, snacks and proper lunch, so you can turn a quick play into a longer sit down without needing to go anywhere else. That's handy if you've got more than one child and need to actually eat something yourself for once.

Opening hours stretch nicely through the week, from half eight in the morning on weekdays right up to 8pm most nights, though Sunday winds up earlier at 4:30pm. Worth building that into your plans if a Sunday visit is what you're after, since you won't get the same long afternoon window you'd have on a Saturday.
