Lanterns of the Wild lights up Twycross after the daytime zoo shuts. Season runs 6 November 2026 through 21 February 2027. Trail opens from 4:30pm. Last entry varies by night (latest 8pm) and the event closes about 90 minutes after last entry. Book an evening ticket - daytime zoo animals are not out on the lantern route. Expect roughly 1.5 km outdoors in winter (about 60-90 mins). Food, rides and parking (£4) are extra. Same-day day+evening visits mean a gap while the zoo closes before 4:30pm (Himalaya stays open). Santa grotto is a separate paid addon on the same hub - not part of this trail listing.
