Soft Play in Derby

Wet Saturday in Derby and the soft play options are close together in the middle of the city. Berzerk in Derby (DE22) has under-5 and under-11 frames with free parking, from £6.99 term time. Kingsway Softplay, also DE22 and part of Clip n Climb, splits into 0-4 and 5-11 zones with timed sessions from £2.50 off-peak. Out at Spondon, Freddy's Play Kingdom keeps toddlers in a dedicated 0-3 zone while older ones tackle a three-storey frame, no booking needed and entry from £2. For toddlers, the under-5s areas at Freddy's and Kingsway are the gentlest starts, and Jangala in Hilton adds a separate baby space and toddler hut alongside its bigger frame. Cyril's Fun House, a drive out to Long Eaton, throws in a football pitch and reptile centre for older kids, plus quiet sessions if noise is a worry. Mighty Monsters in Stapleford asks you to book ahead, so sort that before you set off. Card only at Berzerk, so bring plastic rather than cash.
