What it’s like
Soft play in Long Eaton with a football pitch, giant ball pool and a reptile centre thrown in for good measure.
There's more going on here than your average soft play. Alongside the ball pool and trampoline pods there's a proper football pitch inside, a woodland playroom, and a reptile centre where the kids get hands on with the animals. That last bit is the one they'll be on about in the car home.
Babies and non-walkers get their own separate area, including an under sea sensory room away from the older ones charging about. There's a sensory room too, and the site lists sensory friendly sessions if that matters for your family. Wheelchair access is in as well.
Prices move around depending on the day and time of your session, which is a faff if you're trying to budget ahead, but it does mean there's usually a cheaper slot if you can be flexible. It's open every day, 9am to 6pm. The café does food made to order rather than the usual reheated nuggets, and there are two party rooms if a birthday's coming up, a jungle room with lights and sound, and a Disney room, plus private hire if you want the place to yourselves.
