Laser Tag & Nerf Arenas in Derby
Derby has two laser tag arenas right in the centre, and they are easy to tell apart once you know the layout. Megazone is the bigger of the pair, a 4,000 sq ft multi-level arena from age 6, with games from £6.95. Laser Quest is close by too, running foggy maze battles across catwalks from age 7, same price. Out at Long Eaton, CQB Arena swaps lasers for foam darts, with Nerf Wars sessions for ages 6 to 12. If your child is six, Megazone or CQB are the ones that fit the age rule. For sevens and up, Laser Quest's fog and catwalks add a bit more drama. All three need booking ahead rather than turning up, and games run in short 20-minute bursts at the two Derby sites, so it is a manageable length for a first go. Both Derby arenas do birthday parties and group bookings, with Megazone offering parking on site.
