Arcades, VR & Gaming in Bristol

Right in the centre, Roxy Lanes on Union Street mixes bowling with duck pin and batting cages, and lets kids in free until 5pm if they're with an adult. Tenpin at Avonmeads has bumper lanes for younger children plus laser tag and escape rooms for the older ones, and Playback Arcade, also central, has over 35 freeplay machines and pinball best suited to age seven and up. Further out, TeamSport offers multi-level go karting with a Mini Racers option from age 4. For toddlers and younger kids, Roxy Lanes' free entry policy and Tenpin's bumper lanes are the easiest wins. Older children are better served at Playback Arcade or TeamSport's laser combat and karting, and Absolutely Karting's cadet sessions start at 8. Two venues are 18+ only: NQ64 Arcade Bar in the centre, free to enter and stacked with Mortal Kombat and Mario Kart machines (bar one Sunday slot for kids), and West Country Games, an adults-only outdoor day of combat archery and axe throwing where kids can't even watch.
