Skate Parks & BMX Tracks in Brighton

Brighton has a proper indoor option right in the centre. BYC Skatepark is about a kilometre out, from £3 for two hours, ages 5 and up, and boards and pads are free to borrow if your kids haven't got their own. Out at Shoreham-by-Sea there's Ham Road Park, a free concrete park with bowls and terrain for ages 6 and up, plus a separate beginners area for those still finding their balance. A longer trip out to Haywards Heath gets you The Skate Farm, an indoor ramp park with booked sessions for ages 4 and up, a cafe and toilets on site. For toddlers on their first board, Ham Road Park's beginners area or a booked slot at The Skate Farm makes more sense than a full bowl. If cash is tight, Ham Road Park costs nothing. BYC suits anyone wanting an indoor session close by without booking ahead, but note it's card or cash only depending on the day, so check which before you go.
