Yoga X Life Studios Newcastle
WHERE
Newcastle upon Tyne
What it’s like
Daily yoga classes and baby massage sessions in a studio with its own café, plus a £25 offer to try it out.
This is a yoga studio that also runs baby massage and baby yoga sessions, so it's not just a place for the grown-ups to stretch out. Daily yoga classes fill most of the timetable, and if you've got a young baby the dedicated sessions are worth building your week around rather than squeezing in as an afterthought.
There's a £25 introductory offer if you want to try the place out before committing to anything pricier, which takes the sting out of a first visit. They ask you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early on that first trip so someone can show you round and get you settled, which is a nice touch rather than being left to work out the mats yourself.
Bookings run through the studio's own app, where you can see the live timetable, book a class and cancel if plans change. It syncs with your calendar too.
Opening hours stretch across most of the week, though they shrink at weekends: Saturday mornings only until half past twelve, and Sunday's split into a morning and an evening slot. There's a café on site with indoor seating.
