What it’s like
An outdoor assault course with over 30 obstacles, a 50 metre inflatable slide, axe throwing and airsoft on one site.
The big draw here is the assault course, over 30 obstacles strung together with climbing sections, balance challenges and water features, finishing on a 50 metre inflatable slide that's clearly the bit everyone's aiming for. It's the sort of thing you'd want to save for the end of a visit rather than the start, because once they've hit that slide they won't want to go back to anything smaller.
Beyond the course there's axe throwing and an airsoft gun range, plus mini Highland Games if you fancy something a bit more traditional. That's a fair spread of activity for one site, and it means a group with mixed interests, some wanting to climb, some wanting to throw things, isn't going to run out of options.
It's open daily from 10 till 5, and there's a café on site for when everyone needs a sit down. Parking is free and there are EV charging points too, which is a small but decent touch if you're driving over. Getting there without a car is more of a faff: nearest train station is about 10 minutes away by taxi, and the 120 bus leaves you a 10 minute walk from the site.
Birthday parties get an instructor-led activity, either the assault course, axe throwing or airsoft depending on the group, followed by exclusive use of the coffee area for food and music. Parents are welcome to bring a cake along and they'll help with the candles moment.
