What it’s like
Mansfield Pirate Pool with flumes, lazy river and under-5 Clock Fun - weekends and Notts school holidays.
Water Meadows in Mansfield is the family leisure swim day out: Pirate Pool with a 50 m Twister flume, Fast Drop flume, lazy river, wave machine twice an hour, and a splash pad with spray arches. Under-5s get the shallow Clock Fun Pool (about 20 cm). There is also a 25 m competition pool and a warmer teaching pool for lessons.
Pirate Pool runs every Saturday and Sunday, plus daily in Nottinghamshire school holidays - it is not a 7-day leisure pool in term time. Under-4s need 1:1 adult in the water and those spaces must be booked. Ages 4-7 are 2 kids per adult. Flumes are 8+ and 1.2 m+, so younger kids stick to Clock Fun and splash. Arrive for changing rooms from 15 minutes before your session.
Pirate Pool tickets: ages 2-3 from £2.50, under 2 free, ages 4+ and adults £9.95 (MORE members get a discount on booking). Lessons from £33.50/month for 30 minutes. Free parking for 2.5 hours on the ANPR lot - stay over 4 hours and you get charged. Cafe on site, birthday packages from the operator party page.
