What it’s like
Full-motion F1 simulator racing in Brighton, built for over-12s who want a proper race, not a toy.
You climb into a full-motion F1 simulator and race, either against the clock or against your mates in the next seat. It's not a padded arcade cabinet, these are proper adult-sized cockpits, and that's exactly why they don't recommend it for under-12s: the pedals are a stretch for smaller legs. Younger kids can sit in for size and try, and they'll get refunded if they can't reach, but this one's really built for secondary-school age and up.
There are after-school sessions and a midday Sunday slot aimed at school-age children, so it's not purely an evening thing, though anyone under 18 needs an adult with them after 6pm. If you've got a twelve-year-old who's mad about Formula 1, this is the one to save for a birthday rather than a random Tuesday, given party bookings start at £35 a head for a weekend group of up to 24 with multiple driving sessions built in. Private hire goes up to 100 guests from £1,000 with catering, which is a big spend but makes sense for a proper event rather than a casual visit.
You don't have to race to enjoy it either. Watching is free, and there's a bar and lounge with tea, coffee, wine, beer and spirits, plus screens showing Sky F1, so a parent happy to sit out can have a drink and watch the racing rather than stand around. Doors are open from midday most days, running to 10 or 11pm depending on the day, and 8pm on Sundays.

What's the minimum age to race?
They don't recommend it for under 12s because the cockpits are adult-sized and the pedals are hard to reach. Younger kids can try for size and get a refund if they can't manage it.
Can under 18s come in the evening?
They can come anytime, but after 6pm they need an adult with them.
How much does it cost?
Party bookings start from £35 a head at weekends for up to 24 guests, with several driving sessions included. There's also a Paddock Club membership at £10 a month or £100 a year.
Can I just watch without racing?
Watching is free. There's a bar and lounge with drinks and spectator screens if you'd rather sit this one out.
Can we watch Formula 1 races there?
Yes, they show Sky F1 on large screens during opening hours, and it's free to watch.
Do you need to book a party in advance?
Party bookings for weekends need arranging ahead, covering groups up to 24 guests, and private hire for bigger events up to 100 guests runs on weekends and weekdays too.
