What it’s like
A coached, hour-long group strength and conditioning class for adults, with sessions scaled to whatever shape you turn up in.
This is a gym for grown-ups, not a soft play with a smoothie bar bolted on. Every class starts with the coach talking you through the workout on the screen, then a group warm-up that rolls straight into the strength or conditioning work of the day. You turn up, they do the thinking.
Classes run for an hour flat, which is long enough to actually get somewhere and short enough that it doesn't eat your evening. The site is upfront that the workouts don't change for beginners, the scaling does, so what a first-timer lifts or how many rounds they do looks different from the regular who's been coming for years, even though everyone's doing the same session. If you've never set foot in a place like this, that's clearly the pitch aimed at you.
New starters get 3 or 5 PT sessions folded into the first month's payment, which is a decent way to learn the moves before you're thrown into a full class trying to keep up. You start with a 30-day trial and a coach gets in touch to sort next steps from there, rather than any online booking you can just click through.
Timings are a bit of a jigsaw. Weekday mornings run 6am to 10.30am and evenings 3.30pm to 7.30pm, Thursday is evening-only, Saturday is an early 7am to 10am window and Sunday's a shorter 9am to 10.30am. Worth working out which slot actually fits your week before you commit to the trial.
Plan your visit
What actually happens in a class?
The coach briefs you on the workout using the screen, then takes the group through a warm-up that flows into the strength or conditioning session itself.
How long does a session last?
An hour, start to finish. You turn up and the coaches run the rest.
I'm not that fit, can I still join?
The workouts stay the same but get scaled to your level, so a beginner and a seasoned regular can be in the same class doing very different weights or reps.
How do I get started if I've never done a class here?
You book a 30-day trial and a coach contacts you about next steps. New joiners also get 3 or 5 PT sessions included in that first month to learn the movements before joining a full class.
