What it’s like
Forest trails to a waterfall and a Go Ape ropes course, with a café and picnic spot for afterwards.
This one's about getting out among the trees. There are scenic trails through the forest leading to a waterfall, which is a decent enough reason on its own to pull the wellies on, and then there's the Go Ape adventure course for anyone wanting something a bit higher up and a bit more wobbly.
It's a nice split, actually. The trails suit a slower morning, the sort where you stop and point at things and nobody's in a rush. The Go Ape course is the bit to save for when everyone's properly warmed up and ready to swing about, since it's a step up in intensity from a woodland stroll.
There's a café on site for when the legs give out, and a picnic area if you'd rather bring your own and eat outside. Toilets and an accessible toilet are both there, and there's blue badge parking alongside the regular car park, so getting from the car to the trails shouldn't be a faff.
It's not a big built-up attraction, more a forest centre with one proper adrenaline extra bolted on. If your crew is happy with a walk and a waterfall, that's plenty; if they want the ropes course too, it turns into a full day out rather than a quick stop.
