What it’s like
A high aerial course, a 15 metre free fall and the UK's tallest indoor slide, all under one roof in Renfrew.
This is one for kids who've outgrown soft play and want something with a bit of height to it. The Skypark aerial course runs 60 metres and hangs 15 metres up, there's a 23-panel climbing wall with over 70 routes so you can start easy and work up, and The Drop is a 15 metre free fall for anyone who fancies their stomach in their mouth. Then there's the slide, 16 metres tall and apparently the tallest indoor one in the UK, which is the bit to save for last because everything else is a warm-up for it.
You need to be 7 or over for the Skypark, climbing wall or The Drop, so this isn't one for younger siblings unless they're happy watching from ground level, which is where spectators are kept anyway for safety. The slide itself has no age limit, though under 1.1m needs an adult riding along. A 1.5 hour session with three activities is £30, and that includes kitting up and a safety briefing, so the actual climbing time is a bit less than it sounds. You're guaranteed at least one go on each activity you've booked, more if it's quiet.
No cameras allowed on the activities, everything goes in a locker, though they do take photos on the Skypark that you can buy afterwards for £4. Skirts and dresses aren't a great idea given you'll be 15 metres above spectators, worth knowing before you get dressed on the day. Booking isn't strictly required but they're clear that weekends and holidays fill up, and if you do book and need to cancel, you'll want to give 48 hours notice or you're not getting a refund.
Birthday parties start at £140 for an hour with two activities for a group of eight, with one free space thrown in. Parking shouldn't be an issue, there are three car parks with thousands of spaces between them including disabled and parent and child bays right outside.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
£30 gets you 1.5 hours and three activities. The Big Slide is separate, £10 for tokens or £1 a go if you're just doing that.
Do we need to book in advance?
Not strictly, but they advise it for weekends and holidays since spaces can be limited on the day. The Big Slide is drop-in with no booking needed.
How old do the kids need to be?
7 and up for the Skypark, climbing wall and The Drop. The slide has no age limit, but under 1.1m tall means an adult has to go with them.
Can parents watch?
Yes, but only from ground level. Parents aren't allowed up on the mezzanine or top level where the main activities happen.
What should we wear?
Something practical with socks, they'll sort you out with climbing shoes and equipment. Skip skirts and dresses since you'll be 15 metres up above the spectators.
How long does a session actually feel like?
The 1.5 hour slot includes 10 to 15 minutes kitting up at the start and about 5 minutes de-kitting after, so the climbing itself is a bit shorter than the headline time.
What if my child gets scared halfway through?
An instructor is there to help and encourage, but if they don't want to carry on they can watch from a safe spot or get escorted back down.
Can we bring a camera?
No, participants can't carry their own cameras on the activities and belongings need to go in a locker. They take photos on the Skypark instead, which you can buy for £4 after.
What about birthday parties?
A private group of 8 for an hour with two activities is £140, with one free space included. You can book online by filling all 8 spots on a session.
What's the cancellation policy?
You need to give 48 hours notice for a refund or reschedule. No refunds for no-shows or last minute changes of mind on the day.
