What it’s like
Language lessons in French, Spanish, German and more, taught one-to-one or in groups, both online and face to face.
This isn't a drop-in class you turn up to on a whim. It's proper structured teaching, in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Russian, Portuguese or Mandarin, either in a group or one-to-one, and either online or in person. Kids join the Spanish classes alongside adults, and the whole setup runs on blocks of lessons rather than single sessions, so you're committing to a run of weeks rather than popping in once to see if your child likes it.
Group classes come in blocks of 12 for £135 or £149 depending on the language, which works out reasonable per lesson but does mean paying upfront. Private lessons are £49 an hour at one of their locations in Lytham, St Annes, Poulton-Le-Fylde or Great Eccleston, or £55 if you want a tutor to come to you, with a discounted block of 10 private lessons at £270. The home visit premium is only a few pounds an hour, so if getting a child to another town after school is a faff, it might be worth it.
They don't stop over the school holidays, which is handy if you don't want six weeks of French sliding out of a young head, though individual tutors do take their own holidays and will give notice if a particular week's class isn't running. Missing a lesson from a block isn't automatically a loss either, as long as you give the tutor 48 hours notice, you keep it. Less notice than that and you lose it from the block, which is worth remembering before you book a half-term holiday without checking the calendar first.
