Adult Workshops & Evening Classes in Preston
If you fancy learning something new of an evening, there are two very different options within a drive of Preston. The Language School, a little out from the centre, runs French, Spanish, German and more, taught one-to-one or in groups, either online or face to face, with prices from £135 and lessons for anyone from age 3 to 80. Out at Leyland, Modern Approach Sewing School works from a single-storey studio and covers dressmaking, tailoring and bridal sewing, with free parking on site. For a single taster, the sewing school's one-day courses from £40 are the cheaper way in, and private tuition is there if you want it more focused. The language lessons suit a longer commitment, and being online or face to face gives you the choice of turning up in person or just logging on after the kids are in bed.
