What it’s like

Hand feed alpacas, join a walk or book a farmer experience for the day, open every day from 10am to 4pm.

The alpacas are the whole point here. You can turn up for a walk-in visit and hand feed them, or book something with a bit more structure: an alpaca walk, a meet and greet, or the full farmer experience if someone in your group wants to actually muck in for the day. There's also bedtime at the barn and toddler events on the list, plus pony and alpaca parties if you're after something different for a birthday.

Walk-in visits are £10 for an adult and £5 for a child under 16, which feels fair for an afternoon with the animals. The meet and greet steps that up to £15 and £10, and the farmer experience is £20 a head, so it's worth deciding upfront whether you just want to say hello or actually get stuck in. Everything runs from 10am to 4pm, seven days a week.

The walk-in option is the easy one, you can just show up. Anything else on the list, the toddler events, the parties, the farmer experience, needs booking ahead, so that's the bit to sort before you get in the car if you've got your heart set on a particular activity rather than a general wander round.
