The Kill House Indoor Airsoft Arena

Ages 11+
WHERE
Dewsbury
What it’s like
Team airsoft battles through a maze of tight corridors and rooms, firing plastic pellets at the opposing side.
This one's for the older kids and teens who've outgrown laser tag and want something with a bit more grit to it. Teams head into a maze of tight corridors and rooms armed with replica guns that fire plastic pellets, and it's as much about communication and tactics as it is about pulling the trigger. From what they list, it rewards the kids who can actually talk to their team rather than the ones who just run in.
The minimum age is 11, and anyone under 18 has to be supervised by an adult while using the guns. That's worth bearing in mind if you were picturing dropping a group of thirteen-year-olds off and going for a coffee. This is a hands-on session for you too, not a spectator sport.
Sessions run evenings Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 till 10, with weekend slots on Saturday and a single Sunday morning block. Booking online is the way to do it. You can walk on, but they're upfront that they can't promise there'll be space if you haven't booked, which is a faff if you've driven over on spec.
If you're planning a birthday, they do parties here, and you can hire the whole arena privately from £200 if you want the place to yourselves rather than sharing with other groups. There's parking, toilets and food on site, so it's set up for a proper session rather than a quick in-and-out.

Plan your visit
How old do kids need to be to play?
Eleven is the minimum age. Under 18s have to be supervised by an adult while using the guns, so this isn't a drop-off activity for younger teens.
Do we need to book in advance?
Yes, online booking is how they want you to do it. You can turn up and try to walk on, but they can't guarantee there'll be space.
Do we need our own gear?
Mention of needing your own kit, just book your session online so they can get your group started quickly.
What are the opening times?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings from 6 to 10. Saturdays have two sessions between 10 and 6, and Sunday is a single morning slot from 10 to 2.
Can you have a birthday party there?
They do birthday parties, and you can also hire the whole arena privately from £200 if you want it just for your group.
