Laserforce Leeds

What it’s like

A three-floor laser tag arena where you tool up and hunt each other round the levels for up to 20 minutes a game.

The whole point here is the arena itself, spread over three floors, so there's proper height to it rather than just a flat maze of corridors. A single game runs up to 20 minutes, which is about the right length before small legs start flagging, and you can pay for one go at £7.95 or stack up three games for £12.95, which works out the better deal if anyone in your group is going to want a rematch.

Birthday parties get their own packages, two games plus drinks as standard, with food added if you want it. That's £12.95 a head without food or £16.95 with it, and pizza's on the list if you go for the food option. If you'd rather have the run of the place without other groups mixed in, exclusive hire is £250 without food or £300 with it, which is a decent chunk of money but buys you the whole arena to yourselves.

There's no messing about with elaborate storylines or themed rooms from what they list, it's straightforward laser tag across multiple levels, so the appeal is really about the running about and the tactics rather than any add-on extras. Group bookings are catered for alongside the parties.
