What it’s like
A military-style airsoft site for 11-plus where teams run, crawl and shoot each other with 6mm BBs across rough outdoor terrain.
This is airsoft, not laser tag: real running, hiding and shooting 6mm plastic BBs at another team across varied, rugged ground. Expect scraped knees and camouflage rather than flashing vests. Games are scenario-based, so a session can be over in half an hour or run the whole day, even a full weekend if you book into something like the G.A.M Weekender.
It's for 11 and up, and the site is fairly precise about how that works by age. Younger players from 11 to 14 should have a parent or guardian actually on site, ideally playing alongside them. For 14 to 16 it's preferred the adult is there or close by, and 16 to 18-year-olds need written parental consent plus a signed waiver for their first game. Anyone under 18 has to wear a full face mask, no exceptions, so factor that into what you bring.
Cost depends on how organised you are: £30 if you've booked ahead, £35 if you turn up on the day with your own gear, or £26 for a hire package if you need kit. Themed or film-style simulation games run £35. There's no booking link listed, so you'll need to get in touch directly to sort a slot, and weekends look to be the main window, running 8:30 to 5 with games wrapping up between 4:30 and 5:30 depending on the time of year.
One thing worth knowing before you commit a group: private day bookings need a minimum of 18 players, so this isn't really a spontaneous outing for three or four people. Regular sessions run the first and last weekends of the month, with extra midweek games in half term and special events over summer.

How much does it cost?
£30 if you've pre-booked, £35 for a walk-on game if you've got your own gear. Hire packages come in at £26, and themed simulation games are £35.
How old do kids need to be?
Players start from 11. Under-15s need a parent or guardian on site, and 14 to 16-year-olds should have one there or within about 10 minutes drive.
Do we need to book?
There's no booking link listed, so you'd need to contact them directly to arrange a game. Walk-on games are possible if you bring all your own gear.
How long does a game last?
It depends on the scenario. Some games are half an hour, others run all day, and some, like the weekender events, stretch across a whole weekend.
What do we need to bring?
Camouflage or sturdy clothes, proper eye protection, and boots or sturdy footwear. Anyone under 18 must wear a full face mask, and guns are available to hire if you don't have your own.
Can we book a private group?
Yes, but private day bookings need a minimum of 18 players, so it suits a bigger group rather than a handful of friends.
