What it’s like
Live gigs and a wall of signed rock memorabilia in a Nuneaton pub venue, with a 14+ age rule on most shows.
This is a gig pub rather than a family venue, so if you've got teenagers keen on live music it's worth knowing the door policy before anything else: 14+ with an adult, though the site says they'll make exceptions depending on the event if you ask first. Inside, bands play through the week and the walls carry a signed rock memorabilia collection that's clearly a point of pride, the sort of thing worth a proper look while you wait for the support act.
Tickets for a night here run from around £18, and you can grab them online, behind the bar, or through their Ticketweb page. The building stays open late, Monday to Thursday until midnight, Friday and Saturday until 2am, and Sunday until 11pm, so a gig night can run properly long if you let it.
There's no parking at the venue itself, which is the one real faff, but Pool Bank Street and Victoria Street both have public car parks a short walk away. Access is thought through too: a ramp at the rear, staff on hand to help with the stairs up to the Queens Hall, accessible toilets on both floors, and carers concessions on paid events.
