What it’s like
Adults-only art classes in Norwich, open to complete beginners and anyone who fancies picking up a brush again.
This one's for the grown-ups. The Art Academy on Roundtree Way runs classes strictly for over-18s, and they're upfront that there's no upper age limit either, so if you've talked yourself out of art since school this is aimed squarely at you.
It runs weekdays, 9am to 5pm, so it suits anyone with daytime free rather than evenings. There's no getting-you-there hassle either, since parking on site is free and includes accessible spaces, which is more than you can say for most places in the city centre.
The bit worth knowing before you go: this is genuinely adults-only, not a family workshop with a grown-up label on it. If you're after something to do solo, with a friend, or as a break from the usual routine, it fits. If you're picturing a kids' craft session with the grandparents, this isn't that.
