What it’s like

Free Rotherhithe Thames-side city farm with goats, pigs and a coffee shop - easy South London family stop.

Surrey Docks Farm sits on the Thames at South Wharf in Rotherhithe. Free to visit every day 10am-4pm including bank holidays - goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens and a pony on a compact riverside site.

Weekends April to September have Meet The Small Animals sessions around lunchtime (small fee, no booking). The Barn coffee shop and farm shop run alongside the paddocks. Picnics are fine - dogs on leads on the Thames path side.

Enter via the Thames path gates and follow the one-way loop. SE16 5ET. Donations welcome - this is a community farm, not a theme park.
