Spitalfields City Farm is a free urban farm on Buxton Street (E1) - goats, sheep, hens, gardens and a tea hut a short walk from Shoreditch High Street.

Open Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays). Summer hours typically 10:00-16:30; winter 10:00-16:00. Donations welcome. No on-site parking - buses and Overground are the easy option.

Good half-hour animal hit when you are already in Tower Hamlets / Spitalfields.

The Farm entrance is on Buxton Street, next to Thomas Buxton Primary School. What Three Words: Keeps.Fines.Wage. There is no on-site parking; Bus D3 stops on Vallance Road, a 2 minute walk. Nearest stations: Shoreditch High Street (8 min walk), Bethnal Green Overground (8 min walk), Whitechapel (10 min walk), Bethnal Green Central line (15 min walk), Aldgate East (15 min walk), Liverpool Street (20 min walk). A Hire Bike station is just outside the entrance on Buxton Street.
