What it’s like
Learn drums, guitar, piano or singing with a free first taster lesson before you commit to paying for more.
This is a proper music tuition setup, with one-to-one lessons in drum, guitar, bass, piano, saxophone, clarinet, singing and ukulele. If you're not sure your kid will stick at it, the first thirty-minute taster lesson is free, which takes the sting out of finding out they actually wanted the trumpet.
Lessons are either thirty minutes for £16 or an hour for £30. Half an hour sounds short but for a beginner working out which end of the guitar to hold, it's usually plenty. The hour makes more sense once they're actually playing pieces and want proper practice time with a teacher in the room.
There are also fully equipped rehearsal rooms for band practice, hired out at £10 an hour, so if your teenager's got a band together this is somewhere they can actually rehearse without annoying the neighbours. Opening hours run every day from 9am to 10pm, which is a wide window and means you're not stuck trying to fit a lesson around a school run.
Parking's free and on site, and the building's wheelchair accessible with an accessible toilet, so getting in and out with a case or a keyboard isn't a fight.
