What it’s like
Booked softplay sessions for babies and under-eights, with a nut-free café and party rooms if you fancy hosting the birthday here.
This one's built around younger kids, roughly babies through to eight-year-olds, with softplay areas scaled for that age rather than a frame built for teenagers. You book a session of an hour and forty-five minutes, which is enough time for a toddler to properly wear themselves out without you watching the clock the whole visit.
It is £7.50 for a child, £1 for an extra adult, and if you go midweek in term time it drops to £5, which is worth planning round if you can do a Tuesday morning instead of a Saturday. A baby not yet walking is £3 on their own, though that fee only applies if the baby isn't tagging along with a paying child. Everyone has to book online in advance, no turning up on spec, which is a bit of a faff if you fancy a spontaneous rainy day trip but does mean it won't be rammed when you get there.
Socks are compulsory in the play frame and here's the catch: they don't sell them, so pack your own or you'll be stuck. It's a nut-free venue and they don't allow outside food or drink in, baby food being the one exception, so leave the biscuits in the car and use the café instead. That café does halal chicken and beef, handy if that matters for your family, and they're allergy aware generally.
If you're after a birthday party, this place does two options. Daytime parties need fifteen kids minimum and run £175 midweek in term time or £250 on Fri-Sun and school holidays, while private hire evenings need twenty kids and cost £275 or £350 depending on the same weekday-versus-weekend split. Both include the party room, games and a homemade food buffet, and you can add party bags for £1.50 a head.

Plan your visit
How much does it cost?
£7.50 a child, £1 for an extra adult. Go midweek in term time and it drops to £5, which is the smart move if your week's flexible.
Do we need to book?
Every session has to be booked online first, there's no walking in off the street. A faff if you're spontaneous, but it does mean the place isn't overrun when you arrive.
How long is a session?
An hour and forty-five minutes. Plenty for a toddler to tire out properly.
Is it free for babies?
Only if a baby who isn't walking yet turns up with a full-paying child, in which case they're free. On their own, a baby ticket is £3.
What's the deal with socks?
You need them for the play frame but they're not sold there, so bring your own or you'll be padding about in bare feet.
Can we bring our own snacks?
Not really, outside food and drink isn't allowed except for baby food. The café covers the rest.
Is the food halal?
The chicken and beef on the café menu are halal, and it's a nut-free venue too, so there's a bit of thought gone into who can actually eat there.
What ages does this suit?
Babies right up to about eight. The softplay is built with younger kids in mind rather than a frame for older ones.
What about birthday parties?
Daytime parties want fifteen kids minimum and run £175 midweek term time or £250 at weekends and holidays. Private hire in the evening needs twenty kids, from £275 up to £350, and both include the party room, games and a homemade buffet.
