What it’s like
Timed 105-minute sessions on bridges, tunnels and ball pits, with a separate babies' area and a quieter Wednesday for kids with additional support needs.
This is your bog-standard soft play brief in the best way: tunnels, bridges, ball pits, and a sensory area to duck into when it all gets a bit much. There's a separate bit for babies and younger children too, so a toddler isn't getting mown down by a pack of eight-year-olds mid-tunnel.
Sessions are timed at 105 minutes, which is enough for most kids to properly tire themselves out without you clock-watching the whole time. Booking's required, no just turning up on spec, so sort that before you set off. Prices shift by age and by peak versus off-peak, from £6 for a one or two-year-old off-peak up to £8 for an over-three at a weekend, and adults get in for £1, which is one of the more sensible adult prices going.
Wednesdays are worth knowing about if you've got a child who finds busy soft play rooms overwhelming. There's a dedicated session that day with reduced capacity, lower sound levels and extra sensory toys on hand. It's not something every soft play bothers with, and it's the kind of detail that tells you more about the place than the ball pit does.
Birthday parties run here too, so if the ball pit's already a hit it's an easy one to book again for a party rather than starting from scratch somewhere new.
