What it’s like
A one-hour round trip along the River Taff, passing right by Principality Stadium.
You get on board, find a spot on deck, and spend an hour gliding along the River Taff with the stadium looming up close enough to properly take in. It's a round trip of about sixty minutes, so there's no faff about getting back to your car or worrying about which side of the river you left it on.
There's no age limit, which is handy, and pushchairs and dogs are both welcome on board for free. Wheelchair users get a ramp set up by the crew. Turn up ten minutes before your sailing time; they're not fussy beyond that.
The catch is the weather. Boats run all year round but only when conditions allow, so a blustery day could scupper your plans. Prices depend on whether you go one way or return, and there's a family rate if you're bringing the crew along. If you fancy something bigger, private charter is on offer too, though you'll need to get in touch to sort details.
