What it’s like
An 18+ pedal-powered party bike that tours Cardiff with your own crowd and cold drinks on board.
This one's strictly for the grown-ups. You and up to 14 mates pile onto a pedal-powered bike, a sober driver steers and keeps things safe, and everyone else pedals their way round Cardiff for about an hour. There's a Bluetooth speaker for whatever playlist you've all agreed on (or argued about), cold drinks, cups and ice all included, and full hosting the whole way round.
The base price is £320 for 8 guests, and it climbs by £30 a head after that up to the 14-guest cap, so a bigger group works out better value per person. You'll need at least 6 to book at all, which rules out a quiet pair fancying a pedal. A £150 deposit locks in your slot, with the rest due 48 hours before you ride, and they run daily from 9am to 9pm.
Because it's pedal-powered with no electric assist, the whole crew is expected to actually pedal, which is either the fun bit or the unwelcome surprise depending on how the hen do has gone so far. Alcohol won't be served to anyone under 18 and everyone needs to turn up sober, since being drunk on arrival gets you turned away without a refund. There's also no guaranteed toilet stop during the ride, so it's worth sorting that out before you set off, and turning up late just eats into your 60 minutes rather than extending it.
Cancel more than 28 days out and you get a full refund; inside that window you lose the deposit. You can reschedule within 6 months if plans change, subject to what's available. Worth bearing in mind you're on the hook for any damage to the bike itself.
