What it’s like
Bowling under a glow-in-the-dark ocean backdrop, plus soft play, climbing and augmented darts all under one roof.
Ten-pin bowling is the obvious starting point, and the ocean-themed glow backdrop makes it feel like more of an occasion than your average alley. From there it's a case of picking a lane: soft play with ball pits and climbing nets, themed climbing and high ropes, augmented darts with auto-scoring, or the arcade and pool tables if you've got teenagers in tow who think they're above soft play (they're never above soft play).
It's open every day, 10am to 10pm, so there's no awkward window to squeeze into. Parking's free on site, which takes one cost off the day even if the rest adds up once you're paying per activity.
Birthday parties are where this place really earns its keep, running from toddlers right up to 12 year-olds, plus adult packages if you fancy a "Bowl 'n Bites" session yourself. Parties start at £11.50 a head with a minimum of six, though there's a catch worth knowing before you book: the soft play and half & half parties have a height restriction of under 137cm. Toddler parties are squeezed into a narrow Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm slot during school terms, which is fine if you're free in the day but rules out weekends entirely.
Whoever books the party needs to know that parental supervision is required throughout, so this isn't a drop-and-run kind of party. Bring a coffee and your patience.

How much does it cost?
Parties start from £11.50 a head, up to £24 for the adult bowling and food package. There's a minimum group size of six for all party types.
Do we need to book?
Parties need a minimum group of six, so it makes sense to sort numbers before you go. It's not clear if general bowling and play sessions need booking ahead.
Is there a height restriction for soft play?
Yes, children need to be under 137cm tall for the indoor play and half & half parties. Worth measuring your child beforehand if they're on the taller side.
Can toddlers have a party here?
There's a toddler party option for under-3s, but it only runs Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm during school terms. No weekend slots for this age group.
Is parking easy?
There's free parking on site, so that's one less thing to plan around.
What are the opening hours?
Open every day from 10am to 10pm.
Do parents need to stay during a birthday party?
Parental supervision is required for all children's parties, so this isn't one where you can drop off and disappear.
