Popworld - Southampton

What it’s like

An 18+ late night bar and club running into the small hours, built around VIP booths, cocktails and birthday bar tabs.

This one's for the grown-ups only, no kids in sight here. It's a late night bar and club setup, open Wednesday and Thursday from 10pm to 3am, then Friday and Saturday from 9pm, also running through to 3am, so it's a proper night out rather than an early evening drink.

The VIP booths are the thing to book if you're organising a hen do or a birthday, with pre-booked cocktails part of the package. It's set up well for a group occasion, the sort of night where you want a table sorted before you arrive rather than fighting for space at the bar once the place fills up.

Some of the bigger bookings ask for a deposit, which comes back to you either as bar tab or credited off your final bill. If you're a Pop Gang member, there's a £25 bar tab going on your birthday, which is a decent little perk if you're already planning to be there that night.

There's no booking link listed here, so getting a VIP booth or party package sorted looks like something you'd arrange directly with the venue rather than online.
