What it’s like
Late-night drag, cabaret and karaoke shows in Soho, running from 9pm with tickets from £15.
This is not a kids' venue and the shows say as much just by their start time: 9pm 'til late, night after night. What's on ranges from drag hosted karaoke nights (Dragaoke, which the site lists as free) to musical theatre singalongs, burlesque, aerial acts and a rock cabaret called Soho Electric. It's the sort of programme you'd take a teenager who's already into musical theatre or drag culture, rather than anyone younger.
Tickets start at £15, and if you fancy going more than once a year there's a membership from £150, which only makes sense if Soho cabaret is becoming a regular fixture for you rather than a one-off. Non-members aren't shut out though, buying a ticket gets you temporary membership for the night, so you don't need to sign up in advance just to get through the door.
Booking ahead is essential here, not a nice-to-have. There's no walk-up culture implied anywhere in what they say about it, so if you've got your eye on a particular show, sort the tickets before you plan the evening around it.
