What it’s like
A 16-plus pottery studio where you learn to throw on the wheel or hand build, with tasters, courses and group sessions.
This one's for the adults, not the kids: it's a 16-plus studio, so leave the younger ones with someone else and go treat yourself to a couple of hours at the wheel. The taster session runs two hours and covers wheel throwing, with hand building on offer too if the idea of centring clay while it flies everywhere doesn't appeal.
£65 for that taster isn't pocket change, but it's a proper hands-on session rather than a quick paint-a-mug job, and if you get the bug there's a weekly course at £50 a session or a 6-week structured throwing course for £300. The 6-week course is the one to save up for if you actually want to get good at it, since finishing it earns you an invite to join the studio as a member with regular access to keep making things afterwards.
Group hire is £55 a head, which works out as a decent shout for a hen do or a birthday that fancies something other than a pub crawl. Parking's free right outside, so you're not hunting for a space before you've even got your hands dirty.

Is this suitable for kids?
No, it's 16 and over. If you had something else in mind for a younger age, you'd need to get in touch with them directly.
What do you actually do in a session?
The taster is two hours of wheel throwing, and there's hand building too if you'd rather not fight a spinning lump of clay. The 6-week course is more structured and focused on throwing.
Is there parking?
Plenty of free parking right outside the studio.
