What it’s like
A birthday party built around a mini-makeover, a proper photoshoot and a loft disco with karaoke, for girls aged 7 to 16.
This one's less "soft play and jelly" and more red carpet. Each girl gets a mini-makeover with colour choices, then heads into the studio for a solo photoshoot plus a group shot with the rest of the party. From there it's up to the third-floor loft for a disco with karaoke, stone baked pizza and a pink fizz reception (non-alcoholic, so nobody's driving home worse for wear).
It suits 7 to 16 year olds, with the birthday girl needing to be at least 7 and guests at least 6 if they're a sibling. Prices start at £195 for up to 8 girls, rising to £295 for a Deluxe party for 10, and the Deluxe option gets each girl two prints instead of one. It's not a cheap party, but the site is firm that everything listed is included, no upsells on the day beyond buying extra digital photos if you want more than the free glossy prints.
The venue itself is worth knowing about before you book: three floors, a proper studio setup with multi-backdrop photography, twin toilets, and that dedicated disco room with beanbags and disco lighting rather than a bolted-on corner of a hall. A £25 deposit secures the date, and while they say last-minute bookings sometimes get squeezed in, popular Saturdays are the ones to sort early. At least one parent needs to stay for the party, with a maximum of four adults allowed in.
If a few invited girls can't make it, nobody loses out, the ones who do come just get more time with their makeover and photoshoot. Joint parties are also an option if two families want to split the cost, though there's a £10 surcharge on the 2 Hour Deluxe Party Only version.

How much does it cost?
£195 for a Special party for up to 8 girls, £265 for a Deluxe party for up to 8, or £295 for a Deluxe party for up to 10. A £25 deposit secures the booking.
What ages is this for?
The birthday girl needs to be between 7 and 16. Guests can be as young as 6 if they're a brother or sister of the birthday girl, but makeup isn't included for under 6s or boys.
Do we need to book in advance?
Booking early is best if you want a specific date, but they do accept last-minute requests, sometimes as late as the day before. A £25 deposit locks in the date.
What's actually included in the price?
Digital invitations, the pink fizz reception, a mini-makeover and full photoshoot for each girl, the loft disco with pizza and soft drinks, birthday cake, decorations, karaoke and games, plus a free glossy print for each girl to take home.
Can adults stay for the party?

What if some invited guests don't turn up?

Yes, around 100 digital photos can be bought on the day for £20-£30, with no hard sell involved.
