What it’s like

Kids' kickboxing from age five, £15 a class, and your first session is free to see if they like it.

Kids' classes start at five and run as kickboxing, with boxing and kickboxing beginner courses for anyone older who fancies it. Your first class is free, which is the sensible way to find out whether your six-year-old actually enjoys being shown a jab before you commit to a block of anything.

After that it's £15 to drop in, £120 for a 12-pack or £90 a month for unlimited classes. The monthly option is the one that makes sense if they go more than a couple of times a week; drop-in suits the try-it-and-see crowd. Adults can book beginner courses at 6 weeks for £150 or 8 weeks for £200, and personal training runs £80 for one person, £100 for two and £105 for three or four if you'd rather split it with friends.

Sundays are one-to-one sessions only, so no group classes that day. Weekdays run 7am to 9:30pm, Friday until 8pm and Saturday until 3pm, which means Saturday morning is your realistic weekend slot. You don't have to book for the drop-in classes, though the free trial is booked online or by phone. There are party rooms and group bookings, and the gym is on public transport rather than a drive-and-park trip.

Plan your visit

How much are the kids' classes?

£15 to drop in, £120 for 12 classes or £90 a month unlimited. The unlimited option works out best if they're training more than twice a week.

Can my child try it before we pay?

The first class is free. Book the trial online or over the phone and see how they get on before you buy a pack.

What age can they start?

Five and up for the kids' kickboxing classes.

Do we need to book?

Drop-in classes don't need booking, but the free trial is arranged online or by phone.

What times can we come?

Monday to Thursday 7am to 9:30pm, Friday until 8pm and Saturday until 3pm. Sunday is one-to-one sessions only, with no group classes.

Is it just kickboxing for children?

Kids' classes are kickboxing. Boxing and kickboxing beginner courses are open to all levels, so older teenagers and adults can join those.

Are there beginner courses for adults?

There are 6-week courses at £150 and 8-week courses at £200, covering boxing and kickboxing.

Can we do a session as a group?

Group and corporate sessions are available, but they're quoted individually rather than at a set price, so you have to get in touch for a figure.

Is there personal training?

£80 for one person, £100 for two or £105 for three to four people. Splitting it three ways brings the per-head cost down sharply.
