What it’s like

An evening bowling spot in Cardiff that turns strictly 18+ after 7pm.

This one's for the grown-ups once the sun goes down. Lane7 in Cardiff lets in over-18s only after 7pm, and they mean it: physical ID required, so leave the passport photo on your phone at home and bring the actual card.

Booking is required, and it's worth knowing the online system only lets you book up to 24 people at a time. If you're organising something bigger, a birthday do or an office night out that's crept past two dozen guests, you will need to get in touch with them directly rather than trying to force it through the booking page.

Because the 18+ rule kicks in specifically after 7pm, there is a window earlier in the day that is not covered by that restriction, though what exactly is on offer at that time isn't something we can speak to here. If you are planning a night out with a bowling lane involved, this is squarely an evening plan, so build your booking around that 7pm cutoff.
