What it’s like

A big indoor play barn with slides, a zip wire and a football pitch, and you can stay as long as you like.

The main play frame is the sort of thing that swallows an afternoon: slides, a zip wire, and enough of it that a seven-year-old can disappear for a good hour before checking back in. There's a separate toddler area for under-fours, so the smaller ones aren't getting flattened by bigger kids mid-zip-wire, and a football pitch for anyone who'd rather kick a ball about than climb.

What you pay depends on age, which is fiddly but fair. Adults get in for £1, under-sixes-months free, 6-12 months £4, one to four-year-olds £5.90, and five and up £6.50. There's no time limit on your visit, you pay once and stay all day, which changes the maths on that price if you're planning a proper morning-to-afternoon session rather than a quick hour.

The café does hot and cold food all day plus handmade pizza, so you're not stuck eating your own packed lunch in the corner if you didn't bring one (though nothing here stops you bringing one either, from what they list). Parking's free on site, though they admit it gets tight and there's paid parking nearby for the busy days. No booking needed for general play, you just turn up, which is one less thing to organise on a Saturday morning.

If it's a birthday you're after, there are shared party slots at weekends from £13.50 to £17.50 a child, or you can take over the place entirely on a private exclusive-use booking, weekdays from £13.90 or weekends £16.90 a child, minimum 20 kids. Styling add-ons are there if you want to make more of a fuss of it.
