What it’s like
A mix of giant sandpit, zip wire and bouncing pillows outdoors, plus a soft play frame and toddler zone indoors for wet days.
There's a proper sprawl to this one. Outside you've got a zip wire, a wooden trim trail, a racetrack and a sports court, plus bouncing pillows and a sandpit that from what they list looks big enough to lose a wellie in. Indoors there's a giant play frame and a dedicated Toddler Zone with soft play, a twin lane slide and roleplay corners, so a wobbly one-year-old and a confident eight-year-old can both find their level without getting in each other's way.
Booking's online only and it's not just a formality either, you need it to guarantee a spot, and there are no refunds if you don't show. You can move a booking up to two hours before it starts, which is fair enough, but turning up on spec and hoping to pay cash on the door won't work. Two adults per child is the cap, which is worth knowing if grandparents are coming too.
Food-wise, Woody's Kitchen does the usual hot and cold options, and there's a Click & Serve thing now where you scan a QR code at your table and they bring it over, handy when you've got a toddler mid-meltdown and don't fancy queuing. Picnics are fine outdoors as long as you leave the glass and the barbecue at home. Socks are compulsory on the indoor equipment, so pack a spare pair for the inevitable one left in the car.
Parking's free on site at the garden centre, and pushchairs are allowed in the outdoor play area, which helps if you're juggling a nap schedule around all that running about. Some bits do close in poor weather given how much is outdoors, so a soaking day might mean less on offer than the website's full list suggests.

What happens if we miss our booked session?
No refunds for no-shows. You can move the booking to another time up to two hours before it starts by getting in touch with them.
How many adults can come in with one child?
Adults go in free, but it's capped at two adults per child.
Is there anywhere for babies and toddlers?
There's a dedicated Toddler Zone with soft play, a twin lane slide and roleplay areas, separate from the bigger kids' frame.
Can we bring our own food?
Picnics are fine in the outdoor areas. No glass, crockery, alcohol or barbecues though.

Prams and pushchairs are allowed in the outdoor play area.
Do you need socks for the indoor play?
Socks are compulsory on the indoor equipment, so bring a pair for everyone.

Some areas may close in poor weather since a lot of the play is outdoors.

Who's responsible for watching the kids?
It's unsupervised play, so an adult over 18 needs to stay with your child for the whole visit.
