WHERE

Liverpool

What it’s like

A gig venue and beer garden with live music, club nights and a kitchen serving European food and craft beer.

Gigs and club nights are the whole point here, with tickets running from £16.50 for general release up to £30 depending on the show and how early you book. Doors and hours shift about depending on what's on: Friday and Saturday it's open from 2pm right until 1am, while Tuesday to Sunday it's a shorter evening slot from 4pm. Monday it's shut entirely.

There's a Challenge 25 policy on the door, and they're strict about it: a photo of your ID on your phone will not do, you need the physical card or passport with you. Turn up without it looking under 25 and you will not get in, which is a proper faff if you have forgotten your wallet.

Food comes from Kaz Kitchen alongside European and craft beers, so you can make an evening of it rather than just standing about waiting for the act. There's a cloakroom for coats and bags, though it is left at your own risk, so do not leave anything precious in there. Step-free entry is available via the Garden Entrance on Regent Street with a ramp, and there's an accessible toilet, though the raised viewing platform is currently only reachable by two steps.

If you're driving, there's no dedicated car park, just street parking nearby, and that gets properly squeezed on Everton match days. Walking in from Moorfields or Sandhills train stations takes about fifteen minutes, and it's more like twenty five minutes on foot from Liverpool One bus station.

Plan your visit

How much are tickets?

They start at £16.50 for general release and climb to £30 for some shows, depending on how early you book and which event it is.

Can I just turn up and buy a ticket on the door?

Only if the event is not sold out online. Check their socials on the day for door policy and timings.

What's the ID policy?

Challenge 25 is in force, and door staff want a physical photo ID, not a photo of one on your phone. No valid ID can mean no entry.

Is there parking?

No dedicated car park, just street parking nearby. It gets tighter than usual on Everton match days.

Is it accessible?

There's step-free entry via the Garden Entrance on Regent Street with a ramp, plus an accessible toilet. The raised viewing platform currently needs two steps to reach, and PA tickets are available if you request in advance.

Is there food and drink?

Kaz Kitchen does food and snacks, and there's European and craft beer on offer too.
